CU Boulder welcomes guests and their service animals to our campus for commencement and recognition ceremonies. Service animals must remain under the control of their handler and not disrupt the event. CU Boulder recommends that service animals are identifiable by wearing a vest or harness.
Alternate Seating
Commencement staff may need to relocate a guest to alternate seating if the service animal impacts fire code regulations or cannot reasonably fit within the space provided by the individual’s seat. We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the seat is similar to the one you selected. Per university policy, personal pets and assistance animals are not allowed in CU buildings, but they are allowed in outdoor spaces.
